The DS Boss and a Wii Playthrough Inside
The Tokyo Game Show is wrapping up, but our coverage isn’t. We still have more video to show you direct from the show floor.
This time, it’s a double dose of Sonic Colors video that, in one respect, will be old hat, and in another won’t. First, we’ve obtained another recording of the Tropical Resort boss from the DS version, which many will have seen before–but not on the crystal clear screens Sega provided for players at the floor.
Second, we have another playthrough of Tropical Resort’s first act from the Wii edition. This one shows off some alternate areas of the stage, so those promises of branching paths still ring true.
Check them out below. We’re not done with the video treats either–Monday on TSSZ News, we’ll show you how Sonic the Hedgehog 4 for the iPhone shook out on the TGS floor.

the framerate looks faster!!!!!
is it going to be 35fps like 360 unleashed or is it actually going to be 60fps like the old sonic games!
i still love the game anyway but it would be more exciting if it was moving at 60fps
Yeah, 60fps like in SA2B and Sonic Heroes, it sholuld always be 60fps. Unfortunately it’s not always. SOnic 06 was by default, but too many slowdowns. Sonic Unleashed for PS3 was 60fps by default, but too many framerate drops.
