First Close Peek at the Later Stage
Courtesy of French website Gamekult.com, a ton–and we mean a ton–of screenshots from Sonic Colors were released today.
For the sake of organization, we’ll be showing you those shots in three sections, and this one focuses squarely on the new, later stage Starlight Carnival. We believe all of the shots below to be from that stage, and it looks not only beautiful, but challenging. Keep in mind, these appear to have been ripped directly from the latest build, so there is no cleaning of jaggies to be seen.
Dozens of additional screenshots were released today, and we’ve put those in their own sections, from cutscenes to everything else. Those still interested in Starlight Carnival, check out the new media below in our gallery.

@pic 4: OMG!! the bettle robot from sonic 1 is in here too! YES!
Lol, they have a world map like SMB3 in this game….
Oh gawd.
Instead of Metal Sonic, you race a giant Motobug? Sweet!
It looks like a mixture of levitated ruins from sonic secret rings and the space colony ARK levels from sonic adventure 2 and shadow!!!!
I think this is going to be the order of the levels:
Tropical Resort Zone
Sweet Mountain Zone
Aquatic Park Zone
Planet Wisp Zone
Asteroid Coaster Zone
Starlight Carnival Zone
And The last 3 levels with locks. I think the 7th and 8th are either the giant eggman ship that flies around the map or that little satellite in the corner of the world map. And the final zone (super sonic battle most likely) is most likely the core of that machine that holds the 5 planets (there is a lock right there below tropical resort)
there is the satellite in the corner and the core of the machine below tropical resort.http://www.tssznews.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/ME0001310859_2.jpg
