The Best of the Rest, Inside
Courtesy of French website Gamekult.com, a ton–and we mean a ton–of screenshots from Sonic Colors were released today.
For the sake of organization, we’ll be showing you those shots in three sections, and this one focuses on areas already well known to fans, including Tropical Resort and Sweet Mountain. Strangely, Planet Wisp wasn’t included, but no bother–you’ll get plenty of insight into alternate areas, sub-maps, title screens, and Eggman’s Sonic Sim–the multiplayer mode. They are branded, but nothing near as bad as sources like CVG and ONM.
All that media is below in our gallery. We’ve separated the remainder of the nearly 100 screenshots to offer separate peeks at Starlight Carnival and the game’s cutscenes.

Ooh, if you look at the Sweet Mountain map, it shows eight stages. If there are six levels and a boss, then maybe the eighth is a special stage? Especially considering there’s an orange wisp floating above one of them… I note there’s also a green one floating above the Starlight map. Intriguing!

Nah, I think that first one is Leaving Portal. Because if you look there is written Act 1 where Sonic stands.

Oh…good point. You may be right. One thing I notice is that pressing B says “Retour” (French for “back” apparently), so I guess that either backs out of the level you’re about to select or back to the portal.
Another weird thing I just noticed. Does the simulator seriously have an option for “1.5 Players”!? Maybe that’s what that glowing orb thing in the earlier video was…
Why so many screen shots release?
We know it’s an absolutely incredible game, we want something like this (besides Unleashed hehe) for the Xbox360 hehe

Yep, thats strange, maybe multiplayer? I love one comment that says: “How can you play as one and half player.” That made me laugh a lotXD. But we will see when it wil be done(Of course I cant wait:-)) But now I remembered, when you look on pictures when Player runs through the multiplayer level alone then that red ball follows him. Maybe its only feature that lets you change characters. Who knows:-)
