Rocky Ridge, Lava, Cities and More
To complement today’s new trailer release for Sonic Free Riders, several new screenshots have been released today via XBOX.com.
The shots are available clean in the gallery below. We’re finally starting to see more than just Tropical Resort; Rocky Ridge environments make a prominent appearance, as well as stages we’ve barely seen before, if at all. One of the shots has Sonic grinding in an area that is architecturally very similar to Sonic Unleashed‘s Spagonia. For the SonAmy aficionados, there’s a shot of the two hedgehogs clenching palms in a multiplayer mode. Awwww.
Check out all the screenshots in the gallery. It appears it’s time for SFR to shine, with the launch now just 2 weeks away. We’ll keep you up to date with anything significant.

Nice. I like these areas. Cool to see a more “modern” city in a Riders game, as all past Riders titles seemed to be exclusively futuristic.
