Did the NA Build Illegally Surface?
We have this not yet confirmed, but if it pans out, it looks like in the homestretch, Sonic Colors will not be immune to a significant leak.
With only a few days left until its European release and a week to go until the domestic launch, TSSZ News has learned less than reputable sources are claiming to offer a North American build of the game’s DS edition in the form of a downloadable ROM. We haven’t been able to confirm if this is the demo, which is known to be dumped in research circles, or a fuller, if not the full product. The former could very well be what’s circulating as of this evening, with claims of it being a full product. The build we saw was contained within a protected RAR. Of course, as we don’t promote piracy, TSSZ News won’t provide a direct link to source material.
If this does pan out, it will be the third Sonic game to see a full leak in thirteen months’ time. In October 2009, both Wii and DS ports of Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games were leaked. The big leak of 2010, of course, was the PartnerNET build of Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1 in the Springtime.
As it is just a few days to launch day in Europe, and copies are likely in transit to retailers, these instances of piracy become all too likely. We will have to see if the Wii version suffers a similar fate as the week progresses. On the other hand, this could just be the work of a few sources trying to trick unsuspecting. For now, we’re just not sure–though leaning toward hoax–and for that reason, it’s been filed under rumor.

I found this on google.
(EDIT – Link to possible piracy -T)
is this any help?
Can’t find anything about it leaking online and absolutely nothing on various forums.
Nothing on this release list site
http://www.ds-scene.net/?s=releases
The above site does NOT post links to roms just keeps track of rom releases.
I don’t think it would be there yet. If the source we’ve been tipped off to pans out, this is a leak only a few hours old.
However, it could very well be someone trying to present the demo as a full build, so I’ve done some re-writing to the story and filed it under Rumor to make that part clear. If wrong, this will be retracted–plain and simple. On a superficial level, what we’ve looked at does look suspicious, though perhaps not in the way many would think.

I think I found the link, the download wants to you to fill out some survey to download a .txt containing the password, said survey requires a cell phone number. If this isn’t a scam I well be very very surprised.
stupid leaks, why won’t they go away already!
they always happen to sonic games.
It happens to all video games
i am downloading it now if it works i will send you the link
dam yeah it askes for a password
this is a con i sent the guy resonsable a message saying i will only download this if you show me some fottage of the game and he deleated my comment
Those videos on YouTube are rubbish. He’s written the ROM name as rftd-swfu2, which is The Force Unleashed 2. The .rar file also contains another .rar file that is passworded, and this .rar file contains nothing as far as I can see.
Went through the whole process, when you get to the download password part, it just sends to to a media fire link with a ‘The world ends with you’ rom.
Although the world ends with you iis freaking awesome, I’m not going to download it if I already have it, so don’t bother downloading.
o problema é que a sega demora tanto e tem tanto trabalho para fazer um jogo e os fans ja estragam tudo lançando o jogo antes do lançamento.
cant wait for fridat anywayXD
Even though the DS leak is fake, the Wii version has been released and is NOT fake! I’m not posting a link of it, but I will post the file name of it:
Sonic_Colours_PAL_Wii-WiiERD
This is, you know, a must. Game must be available for stores before release date; there is no problem about getting a cartridge – and, believe it or not, dumping DS games is relatively easy.
So far all DS leaks are fake. I’ve checked. Nothing on the net that’s legit is around so don’t be fooled by those silly password required fill out a survey ones, those are obviously full of crap.
