Sonic Free Riders Also Places in High 30s
No single edition of Sonic Colors could crack the individual unit charts in the UK last week, as the game only had a couple days to gain ground.
According to Eurogamer, the combined sales of Colors was enough to place 36th overall in the top 40. As the game will get a full week to saturate, that number should go up this week, and reflect next week. But as we dive deeper into the Holiday sales season, it will be increasingly tough to Colors to gain ground, so next week’s rank will be critical as a benchmark.
Meanwhile, the Kinect exclusive Sonic Free Riders had a couple more days to saturate the market. Despite the advantage, that game placed 38th overall in the combined charts, and 37th in the individual unit ranks.
Again, in the case of Colors, there’s no need to criticize the low rank just yet. The time to celebrate or worry will be next week, and we’ll be sure to relay those results next Monday morning.

Anyway I take it that means you guys are publishing a review next Monday? I’m really curious to read it. I usually like GT’s reviews but now I’m confused and a little concerned…
I take reviews with a grain of salt but it’s still nice to see what the overall population thinks, especially because I probably won’t be playing the game for a while…as excited as I am for this game I still can’t bring myself to pay $50 for a game that will go down in price in a year or so anyway. I just got my copy of SBK this weekend

Has anyone heard about what Argos is doing with the preorders to its customers? People are really pissed now. Maybe that’s why it had low sales at first. XD
Although competetion will be tough for Colors this month, what with game like Black Ops and Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood sucking up all the hpye, but I really doubt its going to be low. To many Sonic fans, its THE game. And isn’t the UK supposedly the biggest Sonic supporter?
