For the Xbox 360 – but for how much?
Sega’s really been going whole-hog with resurrecting Dreamcast games lately – though there were occasionally Dreamcast ports that would show up on services like Xbox Live Arcade, their first truly concerted effort kicked off in late September with the digital re-release of Sonic Adventure. That effort continues next week with the release of Crazy Taxi, and following that, Space Channel 5 Part 2. Sega’s Dreamcast appreciation apparently does not stop there, as today, Gamestop has begun listing a “Dreamcast Collection“, priced at $30, for the Xbox 360.
Details are scarce, given that not even Sega themselves have revealed what’s going in to this collection – but it’s probably a safe bet to assume it will package together the aforementioned Sonic Adventure, Crazy Taxi, and Space Channel 5 Part 2 on a disc. The Gamestop page suggests that this will see release in February of 2011, but given that outlets like Gamestop frequently estimate release dates for games that do not yet have them, there’s no telling when this is actually slated to hit retail. Beyond that, including whether or not this will receive a Playstation 3 release, is anyone’s guess.
It should only be a matter of time before this sees an official announcement – stay tuned.

I wanna ProjectJustice from the dreamcast. to xboxlive
Good, good. I wonder if it’s too much to hope for a Sega Saturn collection..
Sonic Adventure 2 or no buy. @Roger: That`s a third party game made by capcom, so its inclusion is unlikely.
Please for PS3 too.
I’d rather a Saturn Collection first. This will probably just be a repackaging of those PSN/XBLA releases.
It’s probably on XBox so they can include Jet Set Radio and JSR Future.
the first 2 Shenmue please…day 1 buy for me
then maybe…*cough” Shenmue *cough* 3….*cough*
Same here with Sonic Adventure 2. No Sonic Adventure 2 (Battle), no buy…
I don’t want a disc collection with the same stuff from the XBLA and PSN on it.
They should put Sonic Adventure 1 AND 2 on it!
I really hope it´s a good collection. I´m tired of Sega milking their franchises and not releasing great port/remakes. Sonic Adventure it´s a clear case of this situation. I would like to have Sonic Adventure 2 and to finally play both Shenmues on my Xbox360, but Sega won´t probably even care because they aren´t a easy port like PC/PS2 titles are
YES YES YES YES!!! I want that!!!! I want I want I want!
Even though I already got Sonic Adventure in my Xbox360 I would like if SEGA pute SA on it and SA2 as well…
I’m hoping that they would do this same thing with Sonic 4. But I guess time will tell I suppose.
