Sega of America Releases Launch Commercial, Video Inside
For some fans, this was supposed to be the day satisfied through Sonic 4. For many others, it’s a day to feel satisfied, period.
Quick on the heels of the European launch Friday, North American copies of Sonic Colors begin shipping to retailers today, if they’re not already available. How it sells will be more burdensome to find out than in Europe, where the combined sales of Wii and DS ports barely made a mark in the Chart Track Top 40 this week.
To mark the occasion, some new ads will be running in America soon to promote the product. Sega of America afforded a sneak peak late Monday, and we have the commercial below in the video box. In case you’re wondering–Ryan Bloom will review the DS version, while I’ll handle the Wii edition. Look for both reviews later this month on TSSZ News.

Just picked up the WIi version and played for about 2 and a half hours. Sterling was right about the jumping being weird, but it’s a relatively minor gripe. The rest of the game handles like a dream <3

Commercial actually got me to lol.
I got mine last night at the Assassin’s Creed launch (ghost town in there). I only played through the DS version so far. I completed it, (~5hrs. – all missions, all emeralds, various ranks), it’s too short, and kinda easy. Beyond that, awesome sauce, playing through the Wii version sometime this week.
Those red coins are annoying -_-
Well, the game is very cool and I enjoyed playing it, but there is a problem … I DO NOT HAVE A WII. I ask please that the upcoming SEGA title Sonic Colors to launch, that is for all consoles!

im hoping it will sell well enough to get onto xbox and playstation, its driving me mad knowing i cant play it! Im trying to get loads of people together so sega can see how many people really want it on the HD consoles, plus a little joke/dare in there too, if you want colours for HD consoles can you please join and hopefully we can get enough people to show sega that its a good move lol:
