Sorry, Hopeful Fans
In September, we brought you a rumor concerning the possible state of an upcoming BioWare RPG–perhaps Sonic Chronicles related, perhaps not–that stemmed from a BioWare QA member updating his LinkedIn profile.
Today, we know that title will be unveiled at the Spike TV Video Game Awards on December 11th. But more important: we likely know, judging from the teaser footage below, that the reveal will not involve a Chronicles sequel in any way.
Unless the team is giving Sonic and company weapons in a post-apocalyptic environment and they undergo a metaphoric humanization, you can put those hopes of a sequel to rest for now. What this will be, ultimately, is anyone’s guess, and will be revealed next month. We’re just saying that what it is not, based on our September report, can almost certainly be disclosed now.

obviously not a new sonic game…that’s just like saying the creators of god of war and gears of war coming together to make a pokemon game…that doesn’t work at all.
Even thought it may not be this game, it will still be nice if Sonic Chronicles gets a sequel in the future. Shade was awesome.
… I’m actually disappointed. Chronicles was a blast for me… And with that ending…. ^^;

As much as I enjoyed playing Sonic Chronicles, I’m glad Bioware’s next DS game isn’t a Chronicles 2. My reason why is for the fact the Nintendo DS has terrible graphics and sound quality. I’d suggest making it for Wii, Xbox 360, PSP or PS3. What would be even better is the game being on the Nintendo 3DS!
Noooooooooooooo! Sonic Chronicles needs a sequel.
