This Isn’t on 360/PS3 Why?!
We continue with part 3 of our perhaps infinite series of what could have been and hopefully what still can be–a beautiful HD rendition of a beautiful game.
The emulators are back; this time it’s NeoGAFer Stallion Free tinkering with the Dolphin emulator to tantalize your taste of sight, and apparently will do so chronologically. The first ten shots released by the forumer span the title screen to what can only be the first act or two of Tropical Resort. If nothing else, that clean title screen can make for excellent wallpaper. Though it’s not quite in 1080p HD, it’s above the 720p resolution standard, and still in 16:9 resolution. But quite frankly, they’re the sharpest yet.
Take another look below in the gallery. This is what you could have had, XBOX360 and PS3 players. Maybe you will…some day.

I’m not trying to be mean, but it seems that you desperately want it on HD. There are a few people who do, but it’s gonna be AWHILE for SEGA to announce this sort of thing. I find the “This is what you could have had, XBOX360 and PS3 players. Maybe you will…some day.” kinda offensive cuz it’s like you’re pressuring them to get it just so we could only get HD graphics no Sony and Microsoft owner would care about Sonic since the beginning of time…..

If done correctly (and in HD) I don’t see why owners of these systems wouldn’t want to buy it, If it’s because it’s really bright and colorful it shouldn’t matter, we already have Ratchet and Clank,with De-Blob and Playstation move Heroes on the way which all are just as colorful.

I wouldn’t mind seeing this on 360. In fact I know one other person would force me to buy it if it did come out.
Everyone needs to stop thinking that this will come out on xbox and playstation. This game was built specifically for the wii hardware, built on wii code.
Even if it was ported, it would likely come out horrible. Just look at the orange box port for PS3.
This is turning into less of a news site and more of Tristan’s blog.
Anyone that doesn’t what this on other consoles and/or thinks it would be difficult to do is part of the problem and should discontinue use of The Internet before their brain degrades further.

We NEED to consider SEGA’s thought on this cuz they DON’T want it to become like EVERY other Multi-Sonic games.

Let me rephrase that, not enough people actually care too much about Sonic to spread the word. Unleashed was as colorful as Rachet and Clank on the PS3, but it did BAD compared to the wii version.
HD consoles had the HD version of Unleashed.
Wii must keep our Colours!!

Either TRY to actually make a smooth, polished port to the HD consoles, or don’t make a port at all.

Ah, those last two are exactly what I was looking for in a Colors desktop. They’re “Good, Great, Awesome, Outstanding, Amazing!” Wish the side view had the wisps spiraling tough. I’d be cool with a port if they actually added something worth while, I guess.

SEGA has their reasons for not releasing it on PS3/360, but that doesn’t mean we don’t WANT to see it on them. Its kind of hard for a few fanboys to ‘pressure’ a multi-million dollar compnay, you know?

If they do port it to 360/PS3 but have DIFFERENT LEVELS like they did with Unleashed, I’ll buy it.
