An “Epic” Piece, in More Ways than One
It’s a rare treat when those behind popular webcomic Brawl in the Family is able to deviate from its Nintendo norm. Sonic fans, and fans of Sonic Colors in particular, were treated to such a deviation today.
Prominently on the front page is the latest BitF comic. The brain child of Matthew Taranto and Chris Seward, today’s piece alludes to Epic Mickey–and Epcot Center, one of many houses the great mouse built–only with a punchline reference to Colors‘s own amusement park setting.
“…It also gave me an opportunity to throw a bone to Sonic Colors, apparently a decent adventure for the blue hedgehog,” wrote on the front page, though by his own admission, Taranto hasn’t yet played Colors.

hah thats funny
I know it supposed to be funny, but seeing Sonic and Disney together is not acceptable (Problem is that it increases the chance of the Disney company buying the rights to the Sonic franchise in the future, and I don’t want that to happen).
Shoot. I wish Sonic was holding a Mario hat or something instead of Mickey Mouse ears. Dang it!

ack, just noticed I said “Cartoon” instead of comic. Currently was ranting to a friend of mine that the story in Colors feels like the cartoons of Sonic in the 90s (A great thing).
