Wii up 32%, DS Nearly 45%
The numbers went down on the Chart Track ranks from Monday, but again, that’s from the UK only, and the devil lies in broader details. If you believe data estimates released Wednesday from VGChartz.com, week 4–last week–was another up week for both editions of Sonic Colors in European territories.
The website estimates 33,228 copies of the game were sold in the whole of Europe, as well as the Middle East and Australia. That is another bump up, about 32 percent. The DS edition kept pace, it sold an estimated 33,021 copies across the territories–enough for a 44.6 percent bump versus week 3, and quickly approaching North American level sales. What’s more, this is the first time both copies have broken the 30,000 barrier in the combined EMEAA territories.
The bottom line–this game is selling and should continue to do so through the Holidays. There are just other games that are selling at an even better pace. North American estimates for last week will be released later in the week.

See? It’s selling after all. No need for SEGA to give up or anything.
It’s glorious to see Colors selling. It’s a damned good game and deserves it.
360 please =P
I’m afraid Sega won’t be proud before million, and reaching this may take millenium seeing we’re already in Christmas season.
Good. That’s how it should be.
I just read Tim Turi’s review of this game.
I have never had a fanboy rage before, not even a small one. This is the first time I’ve ever had a “fit” over a game rating.
T_T
^Fuckin’ A right?! What a bullshit review!
Finally, the sales are starting to get going. Although, it was obvious that people are waiting for Christmas, though, but I am expecting a MAJOR spike in sale when the Dec. 20′s roll along. ; )

Afraid I have to agree with Stan; games like Colors and Unleashed are extremely expensive to make, considering the amount if scenery they have to render while Sonic zips by, and because of that, they’re going to have to have a pretty big profit before even considering the game on the HD, even more expensive consoles. Damn it all.
@krazeeKuntt102: I know that was a dig at me, you bastard.
30,000-odd sales is crap compared to the other high-quality titles this season. No one really believes in this franchise anymore. Ask any gamer outside the fandom and I’ll guarrantee that their response will be something along the lines of “Sonic used to be good Back in the Day, but now it’s shit”.
@Kits’Okami
I already know all that. I already know how much SEGA ruined the brand name with poor-qualities titles such as Shadow the Hedgehog, Sonic 06 and the Storybook Series. I know what many other gamers think of the franchise as well as the general assumption of the franchise as a whole.
When you said “Sega, why don’t you just give up?”, I simply assumed you weren’t a fan anymore.
I apologize. There.
