Combined, It Costs as Much as the Game
For its part, Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode I was a success on the XBOX Live Arcade Marketplace, at least in October. That may be why Sega is enticing those on XBOX 360 to plunk down as much as fifteen more dollars for Sonic 4 branded Avatar merchandise.
Released today on the Marketplace and noted by Sega of America’s blogs, there are technically seven items, though in all likelihood you’ll purchase a max of six. The Sonic 4 T-shirt is available in both men and women sizes, only costing 80 points each ($1). The prices go up from there, from a mock Sonic 4 cartridge and “plushie”, green eyes and all, at 160 points each ($2) to a Motobug and Chopper Toy, along with a set of Chaos Emeralds–all 240 points or $3 a piece.
If you bought all these items together, you would pay $15–the cost of Episode I itself. Take a look at some clean shots of the apparel in the gallery below and ask yourself if it’s worth it.

LOL at the Sega Seal of Quality stamp on the cartridge. God, I’m loving SEGA’s recent sense of humor.
what about Sonic 4 mii Items?
The eyes on that Sonic doll are mad creppy, and cheap windup toys suits the new designs of those badniks.

I’d love that, but since when had anyone ever done that?
It’s shit like this that should come free with the game itself. Only an idiot would pay for these.
And when episode 2 rolls around you’ll be able to purchase the Tails doll. Because hearing about how it’s the embodiment of all evil never gets old.
Microsoft is money hungry. Glad I sold my 360!
I’m only getting the Emeralds and Sonic Plushie. I think I have enough points for them. If not, then just the emeralds.
The motobug is awesome
