The Numbers Game Tells a Different Tale
Week 5 sales estimates for Europe have been assessed by the independent website VGChartz.com. While the official Chart Track estimates showed a slight drop, the unofficial numbers showed an uptick during another Holiday shopping week.
On the Wii, Colors sold an estimated 39,316 copies in the EMEAA territories. That’s very close to a crucial 40,000 barrier and up over 18 percent from week 4. The DS edition also kept pace, with 39,782 copies, a more than 20% bump from week 4.
While North American sales have dropped every week thus far since launch, in Europe sales of Sonic Colors have gone up week to week, to the point where both copies of the game in those territories have outpaced domestic sales.
The North American estimates should be out later this week.

I have been monitoring sales for golden eye 007, DKR, sonic colors and epic mickey they all got a huge boost according to vg chartz., especially epic micky and donkey kong.
Yep, Epic Mickey should be called Epic Sh*tty. I hate the games controls and camera so much. It just screws up the game. Colors is a lot better but Mickey had a lot more hype and since everyone was excited of course it’s gonna get better sales than most games sadly. Too bad it just sucks balls cause I was REALLY excited about it.
Sonic Colors should come to HD consoles to maximize sales
Now that I’ve played Colours (Happy Birthday to me! =D), I can safely say that SEGA still has some ways to go before Sonic can be taken seriously as a franchise again.
That said, however, it is a good game, but it’s glitchy. Not ’06 glitchy, but not unnoticable. Also, playing as my Mii-self on the Sonic Simulator was hilarious. I know I’ve always wanted to be like Sonic, but that was ridiculous! =P
I still say these are pitiful numbers for a game of this caliber.

I need a urgent opinion, I’m really really considering on getting in 2days a Wii and SONIC COLORS but….heres my situation:
- I own a Xbox360 and firstly I didn’t knew what to do, should I get a wii and the magistral game
SONIC COLORS or should I insted buy a Kinect and SONIC FREE RIDERS? so this game I looked up to the facts and heres the thing to link the Kinect to the Xbox360 I must take my Xbox360 out of my room and pute it in my living-room too have space to use it, BUT if I do that I can’t connect the Xbox360 to the internet!!! and to do it, it will cost me 30euros…
So I’m consedring reaaly buying a freaking wii and the awsome Colors…
If I buy Kinect and Sonic Free Riders and internet in my living-room it cost me 230euros (Kinect+KinectAdventures[included]+SonicFR)
If I buy Wii plus Sonic Colors it will cost me 240 (Wii+included game+SonicColors) what should I do???
I personnaly want a wii just for Colors, but I rather have a Kinect&FreeRiders but I don’t want to lose internet in my xbox360, should I get a WII??? and make the most out of the 2 sistems??

The Wii will give you access to many great games, so buy that.

OK, I take back what I said before. Now that I’ve played a bit more of the game, I’m in the “Colours is shit” league.
@Tristan Oliver yea but vg chartz is not an accurate source like npd, the sales could be much lower or higher, all we know so far is that sonic colors didn’t make the top 20 npd and never cracked the top 25 in uk charts.
