A Retro Throwback, at a Reasonable Price
We had to do a bit of a double take when we saw this. On EBay today is a large Sonic sculpture–hailing principally from the Sonic 3 & Knuckles era–entirely created with Lego blocks.
The blocks aren’t all pristine, as a few are labeled “Used.” But that retro spirit is sure there. If you didn’t get what you wanted for Christmas, this may be the perfect solution.
That is, if you have the spending money. The current asking price is $115, plus $10 for shipping. That’s not bad considering both parts and labor. However, you can make your own offer. As the Wisconsin based seller says, “what’s the worst that could happen?”

If this was like, 5 feet tall and had an actual picture, I might actually consider buying this. Though… it would need extremely good packaging. Being made of legos, the thing could easily break with the way packages are thrown around. I work for UPS, so I would know. Given the mere $10 shipping price however, I highly doubt this is “giant”, as the seller claims.
What’s the point if it’s already built?
Hmm… Looks a good 30-40 bricks high. That’s around 3 feet tall.
