It Won’t Quite Make Launch Day
Sega’s first dip into the Nintendo 3DS will be out on March 3rd, only a week after the console itself launches. That, according to Japanese oriented website Andriasang today.
The title will retail for ¥4410, or about $53 in US money. It stands to reason from that we could see anywhere from $40 to $50 price points for 3DS titles domestically, but with launch details of the system still relatively unknown in the West, that’s to be determined.
To mark the news, Sega of Japan released the game’s localized box art as well as a couple more shots from the game. Again, these shots won’t include the 3D effect that Nintendo’s next portable hopes to make a mark with. Check them out in the gallery below.

Video game prices get higher and higher. DS games= 34.00.
3DS= 40.00 or 50.00 or 53.00. Eventually handheld games will cost
more then console games… oh well I guess I won’t be getting too
many 3DS games then.
keep in mind, american prices are usually lower than the Japanese price. sooo imma say 40-45 would probably be the price range o.o
Yeah, regular DS games run you anywhere from $50-70 dollars American in Japan already, so this is actually kinda cheap. I predict the highest we’ll see a 3DS game go is 50, with the regular being about 40.
@Skai Cyan
In Alaska they cost about 34.00.
