Virtua Tennis, Monkey Ball, and More on Deck
As a guide more than anything else, Sega on Friday released its rough release schedule for 2011, minus the yet unannounced Sonic fare. You’ll note, however, that many of these don’t have a firm release yet.
The only ones that do are Total War: Shogun 2 at March 15th, Thor on April 29th, and the Dreamcast Collection, which will be out the week of February 20th worldwide. Everything else is generally listed for 2011 or with a TBA.
Still, for the general Sega connoisseur, it’s a handy reference guide for the year ahead.
Dreamcast Collection Compilation (PC,360) – February 25
Conduit 2 (Wii) – February (US gets it on the 15th)
Total War: Shogun 2 – Limited Edition and Standard (PC) – March 15
Yakuza 4 (PS3) – Spring
Super Monkey Ball 3D (3DS) – 2011
Thor (DS, PSP, PS3, Wii, 360) – April 29
Virtua Tennis 4 (PS3) – 2011
Rise of Nightmares (Kinect) – 2011
Captain America: Super Soldier (DS, PS3, Wii, 360) – Summer
Binary Domain (PS3, 360) – TBA
Aliens: Colonial Marines (PC, PS3, 360) – TBA

In Frank West voice: Yeah
Wow, Aliens: Colonial Marines is still alive?
Lookin’ forward.
holding out on us eh? good things come for those who wait
Anyone know what Binary Domain is supposed to be about? If it’s a shooter don’t bother.
Oh man, I hope Aliens: Colonial Marines finally sees the light of day. I’ve been waiting for that for a while. Love the franchise, for the most part.
@ Skai
It is a shooter, though based on the trailer, I’d guess over-the-shoulder, cover-style shooter. The story looks really cool, though.
Also, clearly, Sega’s mobile games aren’t listed here. With Super Monkey Ball 2 on its way to Windows Phone 7, I was hoping they’d list some more titles for my new cell phone
Wait, Sega said SMB 3D was going to be out in March…..
Gearbox could’ve had Aliens:CM out by now but they were probably too busy actually WORKING and FINISHING Duke Nukem Forever.
