Despite End of Year Launch, Inroads Made in One European Country
It had only about a month and a half to do it, but in Spain, Sonic Colors made a top seller list.
The Spanish website Sonic Paradise reports the portable edition of the game managed to crack the top 25 handheld software seller list in the country for all of 2010. More than 31,000 copies of the DS Sonic Colors were sold there, and that was good enough to take the 22nd spot overall.
And even though it technically came out in 2009, Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games was also among the top sellers. Available for the entire year, it sold more than 50,000 copies in Spain, taking the 11th spot.
For reference, the top portable seller in Spain was Art Academy for the Nintendo DS.

Art Academy huh? Was that game any good, it caught my attention at one point, but since my DSlite is broken (I hope 3DS’ triggers are stronger) I sorta lost track of it (and a bunch of other titles as well).
Do you have some special love for Colours? How much longer can be reported sales of game which destroyed almost everything?
I actually looked for more info.
The official Spanish editor and distributor of software publishes:
Among 2010 Nintendo DS sales
November: Sonic Colors (5th Position)
December: Sonic Colors (3rd Position)
Sonic Colors for Wii, just made to get the 10th Position on Nintendo Wii sales for November.
