Sega Genesis Classics Collection IV Available for Download
Sega’s parade of classic Sonic re-releases continued Thursday as the fourth in a series of compilations was made available to PC download platforms.
The titles in Sega Genesis Classics Collection IV total a baker’s dozen, including Sonic 2 and the combined Sonic 3 & Knuckles, according to a release on Sega’s US blog yesterday. Proper saves for the latter appear intact. On Steam, both titles are $4.99 a piece.
Other releases in the collection include the first two entries apiece in Shining Force, Streets of Rage, and ToeJam and Earl.

I find it interesting that Sonic 3 and Knuckles will set you back $10 on a console, but only $4.99 on Steam.
Price drop on Consoles Sega? Come on….
Not trying to start a flame war here, just pointing that out.
S3&k for 4.99? Thats a shame!! The game s worth a lot more XD
It’s more like $16 on the Wii. Sonic 3 and Sonic and Knuckles are $8 a pop. Paying for old Sonics on the Wii is retarded though, when you can just go find Mega and Gems collection for Gamecube.
I agree with Skai.
Now…will Sonic 3 and knuckles comes with the music they had from Sonic and Knuckles Collection?
If so, yay.
if not *starts digging out Mega and Gems Collection*
I’m not buying them AGAIN. I’ve had SO many versions! Unless they threw in some more content to make it worth my while… no thanks…
