Sing us a Song, You’re the Piano Man
Let’s close out the week on a fun “note.”
On YouTube today, we found a pretty good, alebit truncated rendition of Sonic Colors’s opening theme, Reach for the Stars. The arrangement is on a live piano solo; no MIDI here. It’s the work of a Youtuber only known as Simon, and just 13 years old. The kid isn’t bad with the piano at all, and stands to have a healthy career in music if he keeps it up.

i think he just has a bit of miss key issues, but other than that, sounding very good =]
I think there’s a few errors here and there, but otherwise, AMAZING. This kid has some real powerful talent.
ofcourse its only on a piano though so its not gonna sound perfect but that to me sounds damn good! I wish I was that well coordinated lol.

Needed to be faster, and the keys needed to be pressed harder. It’s like he put no energy or soul into his work.
It’s cool, but the speed of the song keeps changing untrue to the original. Nice for a 13 year old, though
It was good, but I wouldn’t favorite or anything.
I’d rather hear a much better version with all the notes instead of missing some, but for 13 years old he’s good.
