Sega just wants to say they love you. They just have a funny way of showing it.
Really, the only non-awkward way to show it is through a sale, which is exactly what the community team announced this morning for iOS devices. On the Sonic side, Sonic 1, 2, and Sonic 4: Episode I for the Apple gizmos will run $2.99 a piece. Meanwhile, Sonic Spinball and the both HD and regular mobile ports of Sonic Team puzzler ChuChu Rocket! are deeply discounted–to the tune of 99 cents a piece.

I am disappointed at the lack of Sonic 3 and Knuckles.
ChuChu is a steal at this price and suits the iPhone perfectly unlike the horrid virtual d-pads setups for the Sonic games, I’d avoid them even if they made them free.
