One of Several Sonic Toys on Display
It is toy season, and it continued with the opening of the International Toy Fair at New York City this weekend, where another round of new Sonic swag as on display.
What you see above is courtesy of Kotaku, and it shows off what is labeled as Sonic Free Riders branded RC cars from NKOK. They’re certainly not your standard RC cars given the format of SFR, but they look far different from the designs Jazwares currently has in circulation. You may remember NKOK got the license for Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing, so something in this vein is a sure bet for later this year.
Also on display at the toy fair were several more Sonic figures, this time from Zoofy. One of the stands you see in the background there is for what appears to be another classic-esque Sonic figure meant to commemorate the 20th anniversary.
The International Toy Fair runs in New York City through Wednesday. Should there be any other items of note there, we’ll pass it along.
