Finished Sequence on the Way “Really REALLY Soon”
You are looking above at a single finished teaser image from the upcoming finished sequence from Richard Kuta’s Sonic fan film.
We are closer to the release of that single scene. Though no specific timetable was set, Kuta previously disclosed a February window. Kuta tells TSSZ News he is personally handling post-production.
Still, it won’t be long now before that release, with much of the community ready to judge whether it’s worth continuing. We’ll have the trailer here once released.

Bunnie and Sally look fantastic. Sonic and Tails….not so much, still though, if the animation is as good as this still implies, than it should be a fun little fan film. I’ll look forward to the next phase in this project.
I’m sorry but it looks like flash animation. I will hold judgement until the final scene is revealed, but this doesn’t really look that good.
And as Chris said, Sonic and Tails look really bad.
That sure as hell doesn’t look like hand drawn, hand painted cel-animation to me. That looks like Flash.
So if it was done in flash, why was it so expensive?
That looks…decent. I guess I’ll keep tabs on this for a while longer.
I like the way Sally and Bunnie looks.
On a whim I googled Kuta and what I found isn’t pretty, is any of that stuff true?
Why did he throw a fit the modern Sonic design but use it anyway in this film? Does he think that doing this will appease Sega? Is he related to Sonichu?

If nothing else, I’m curious to see how this animates. Just from looking at the still, I get the feeling that the animation may be fairly inconsistent.
Listen, I was hanging around FUS when “kuta”, aka SonManic pulled his little bullshit. I’ve seen his ‘project’ develop from day one and I can tell you right away that it’s absolute garbage. Don’t get your hopes up or expect anything that isn’t the worst trash you’ve ever seen. If you want to watch a sonic animation, watch Sonic Shorts, it’ll have better fps and a deeper plot. Oh and as for expenses, that’s just him pocketing the donations of the gullible while he makes a glorified flash animation that he likely won’t even release when all’s said and done.
He’s a fake, don’t buy into it.

That all really did happen, I was fucking there for most of it. If you really want to put your faith in THAT guy, you’re the most gullible person on the planet. It’s a scam, period.
If it takes this long to make a few seconds of the product, I doubt we’ll see a finished product anyways. Not bad of a drawing.

personally i think this looks naff… it looks like an incredibly cheap satam… i reckon the other sonic fan film looks much much better… just my opinion of course… though the entire sonic fan base seems to have a thing against opinions…

This looks… decent… but I don’t like how Sonic and Tails look. That scene looks like it was made in Flash. But to be honest, after Kuta’s rant about the character design in Sonic 4 before it came out, I haven’t been interested in the guy.
