More Rare Sonic, Sega Swag on EBay for Japan Disaster Relief

Including Sonic 15th Anniversary Statue, NiGHTS JoD Pillowcase, Sonic Colors Kiosk Art

Sega’s Aaron Webber knocked on our electronic door this afternoon to tell us they are kicking their disaster relief auctions on Ebay into full gear.  We told you about the first item on the block earlier today.

The full list now includes a wide array of collectible Sega material, including plenty of Sonic representation.  That includes a Sonic 15th Anniversary Statue, number 1398 out of only 2500 made.  As of this article’s publication, that statue’s top bid is $36.   Also available are six pieces of Sonic Colors demo kiosk art, the type of art one would see at a setup for a gaming convention or store.  With only one bid on it, the 99 cent price is easy to top.  Also available is a copy of Sonic Classic Collection for the Nintendo DS as you truly imagined it–autographed by Sega brand manager Ken Balough.  The top bid there sits at $1.04.

There are other items, including a NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams branded pillowcase, a Yakuza track jacket, and an OutRun poster signed by Yu Suzuki that was given toward the cause by its winner last week during Free Stuff Friday.  Right now, the top bid is 61 bucks for a Dreamcast Still Thinking hoodie.

All of these items ship free to the winning bidder, and 100 percent of the proceeds from these auctions go to the Red Cross to benefit a besieged northern Japan.  All of these will end in about a week’s time.
