Up to a 50 Percent Discount Possible
Those who waited to purchase Sonic 4 may be rewarded next week, if a CVG report is any indication.
The website says to expect a Sega sale this time next week on XBOX Live. The website says the sale will include Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode I, as well as Outrun Online Arcade and Crazy Taxi, and that discounts of up to 50 percent can be expected. That doesn’t necessarily mean Episode 1 will be $7.50; in fact no discounted prices have been made official yet. In all likelihood, Sega will make matters official shortly.
But, if nothing else, this may be the first opportunity for many XBOX 360 users to purchase the game at a discount, outside of previous gimmicks. It is not clear whether a similar discount will hit the Playstation Network soon.

i really hate they trying to sell useless games on 360 while the fans are on Sony! i just can’t understand why pressure people buy terrible unrated games on 360. Well Sony ps3 has the best platforms games like ratchet and clank and uncharted and many more i just can’t list them. Sega needs to put a lot attentions on Sony fans and that’s were are money is at from Europe to japan since the Americans are crazy with gun toting violent games with their religions beliefs for example from doom to zombie games i like silent hill series i am huge fan of the series in my opinion. so whats yours ?

Hey mk002, I didn’t realize that all of us American 360 owners with “religious beliefs” (nice job at being vague and insulting just about everyone possible, by the way) hated Sonic and Sega. Oh yeah, that’s right, they don’t. Sega has a wide fanbase with fans who own different consoles, and there are plenty of Sega offerings on the PS3. They aren’t ignoring you.
Oh, and in case you haven’t noticed, there are people with “religious beliefs” in Europe, too. Just sayin’.
Capcom has five games on sale (all half off) this week, so it wouldn’t surprise me if the same goes for Sega next week.

Mind you, I’m still annoyed that they never do discounts on Playstation Network.
wait, its been 6 months since the game’s release. hasnt, by this time, everyone that wanted to play sonic 4 episode 1, already done so, and bought it? or are some STILL holding out? i mean seriously, this game gets a freaking discount, like every two weeks!
