With Kid Icarus, the Humor’s Now on Hold
Have you been keeping up with the Sonic for Hire web series? You should; the machinima has held up quite well since its debut in February.
Yesterday, LowBrow Studios and Machinima.com released the season finale to the series, featuring Kid Icarus, and a cliffhanger ending…some of it intriguing, the rest of it pretty tongue-in-cheek. If the series is more in line with Adult Swim level continuity, none of it may matter. You can watch it below, though we should warn it is geared toward the older crowd with some strong language.
In this season, Sonic’s been thrust into such environments as Paperboy, Metroid, Golden Axe, Burger Time and many more. The idea of a finale suggests at least a temporary break, but with each episode receiving hundreds of thousands of YouTube views each, it is almost certain to return sooner rather than later.
