More Generations News Coming, and…What Else?
We’re typically not so keen on posting what can be considered announcements of announcements here. This one’s a little different and a little more important, however, as it may indicate when to expect the last piece of major news concerning Sega’s plans for Sonic’s 20th anniversary.
It came via a post on the Japanese Sonic Channel Monday, and according to the Spanish website Sonic Paradise, Sega’s Japanese division plans to not just reveal some new Sonic Generations info on the big date itself, but also something else…something unknown. Could it be that third, still unknown title many have been speculating about for months?
The Sonic Channel will also release various other mementos on June 23rd to mark the day, but most eyes will be on whatever new comes of both Generations and this special surprise. We will be sure to follow up on anything more we hear about the mystery.

I HIGHLY DOUBT SA3 will happen this year.
But Adventure fans deserve some love so SEGA should relase SA2 PSN and XBLA port.

my money is on the demo on maybe sonic adventure 2 coming for xbla (which i would LOVE), tho i would like the demo too
@FoxBoy you never know, she could be the main villain… but (I’m just speculating here) I think that the barrel from Sonic 3 & Knuckles will be the main villain. Anyways, I think that there’ll be either a Nintendo Wii/Wii2/3DS version. I don’t suspect Wii, and they could’ve said they were making 3DS in the trailer, so I’m expecting another HD version of the game to come out.

Sonic Really Ultimate Collection, with titles like Sonic CD, Knuckles Chaotix, SegaSonic Arcade, Sonic the Fighters, Sonic R, both Sonic Adventures, Sonic Pocket Adventure, and all Game Boy Advance titles, along GG, SMS and MD ones. For Xbox360, PS3 and Wii.
At least they were thinking on a huge collection back then, and just Mega Collection + Gems Collection wouldn´t be enough for me. It would be nice if they could really fit all those games on a disk. With some extra content like Gems had.

I don’t know what the announcement will be, but I can tell what it isn’t: Sonic 4 Episode 2. That game was announced back in March.
It might be Sonic Generations 3DS/PC or Marbella Sonic Rivals 3 as a game for the NGP! It could just be Sonic 4 episode 2.
