Generations, Colors, Joypolis Get Shout-Outs
Sega of Japan has started its push for Sonic’s 20th anniversary via a new television commercial. Courtesy of Woun and the Russian Sonic Scene, we have that commercial, and it’s available below. It is, in effect, the first mention of Sonic Generations to the masses.
Beyond a Japanese voice-over, however, there isn’t a whole lot to the spot other than it being a rehash of the original trailer. There are mentions of the success of Sonic Colors, however, along with the upcoming Joypolis event to commemorate the 20th anniversary, and word of special Sonic plushies coming to local UFO catchers. The news of Sonic Generations and a link to the Japanese 20th anniversary portal round out the spot.

I would think Japan only since, you know, this commercial aired in JAPAN.
personally… I think once SEGA has finally returned Tails & Knuckles successfully, SEGA will go back to ignoring fan feedback and creating 3D games again ^_^ 3D as in FULL 3D, not 50/50…
Didn’t SEGA hint at a Sonic Heroes 2??? I LOVED THE 1ST ONE
And when SEGA does start ignoring fans again, it can mean no more racing Sonic gameplay, but instead, reasonable speed sections with platforming level design and also added friends!

PS: Does anyone reckon that, since Classic Sonic changed to Modern Sonic… Later in the years will Modern Sonic change again? maybe a more cooler hedgehog look, I Picture more spiked hair style! And maybe more furry looking!

@blueblur, I agree. I love sonic heroes so much. Its like the fans acsk for stupid crap. they just need to fix camera angle problems and glitches, and sonic will be awesome in true 3D again. The 3d games today are just about sonic running from start to finish, which is dull and simple in my opinion
