Coming to LA, Seattle, New York
Before Jun and Johnny, there was Masato and Miwa.
The Japanese pop group best known in this community for their early contributions to both the 1991 Sonic and Sonic the Hedgehog 2 will be touring in the United States beginning in October–their first domestic tour in 9 years.
According to the ANIME News Network, the band, now a duo of Masato Nakamura and Miwa Yoshida, will begin their US tour in Los Angeles on October 1st. The next day, Dreams Come True plays in Seattle. They will then travel east to New York City for two performances on October 9th and 10th, right before the New York Comic Con.
This particular leg of the tour is being dubbed Dreams Come True Wonderland 2011: The Night Dreams Come True in the USA supplied by Pocari Sweat. We don’t have specific performance locations yet, but we will pass them along once they’re known. Thanks to AngelJump for tipping us. Forgive the pun, but. . . .
It’s a Dream Come True!
Yes!
They’re still a band? O_o Awesome!
@BrandonTH. LOL!!! =D
Aww, nothing in Boston?
The name for the tour is quite the mouthful isn’t it?
@ Crackers:
Yep! They’re still a band and they are still popular in Japan!:D I really love these guys and I wish Masato Nakamura could come back to make one more soundtrack for the Sonic series. In fact, I’ll just say it… Compared to Crush 40, I think Dreams Come True is a lot better (imo). I think the last song they made for the series was the English version of “Sweet Sweet Sweet” for the tragic Sonic ’06.
But it’s kind of sad that the lead keyboard player, Takahiro Nishikawa, is no longer playing with them.
crush 40 tour I need
can you give me more details? like where are they playing?
