That’s a Lot of Fighting for 3 Months
Sega and Three Rings Design have been faring quite well with their online MMO Spiral Knights since its formal launch in early April.
So well it’s fared, in fact, that this week Sega marked the one millionth player to join the knight ranks. And to mark the occasion, a new area, the Ironclaw Munitions Factory, is now available for players to explore in Tier 2.
That is just the newest of what’s been some active expansion on the part of developers since launch. That, paired with a free to play Steam launch last month and a healthy community to support it, Spiral Knights seems a success all around, with Sega’s support at the heart of it all.

I played it for a week and gave it up.
Steam launch eh? Never heard of it.
Let me be honest. HATS.
I should be getting my new computer fairly soon, so thanks for reminding me about this.
I could never get into it honestly, the ‘Energy’ system is a game killer.

Have a Tuna Sandwich?
Everything is fine but SEGA blogs are still offline.
Haven’t played it in a while. I wonder how much expensive the packs of 100 CE are now?
Eh, it’s okay. You get frustrated at first, but once you start playing it, you DO get a Legend of Zelda 2D vibe. So, it’s pretty cool.
I played it but the energy part of the game made me stop x[
The Energy thing is so they can actually make money
It’s a little irritating, but it’s still a fun game to play with friends.
Unlike others, I didn’t stop playing it because of energy, I thought the gameplay was boring.
I stopped playing not because of energy, but immediately after obtaining the Team Fortress hat.
Go ahead. Rag on me.
wait…THREE RINGS?.
dang, SEGA loves to team up with all my favorite…stuff.
