The company on Thursday released a job listing for an Assistant Community Manager based out of its San Francisco headquarters. Interested applicants will, among other things, communicate with fans, write for the Sega blogs and other social media content, execute marketing plans geared toward fans, and “organize and execute community events.”
Knowledge with WordPress, vBulletin, Microsoft Office, and social media platforms is desired. Strong writing, editing, and verbal skills are also desired. If you have those skills and are of working age, you can apply for the job at this link.

I really do want to work for Sega for real. After all, I am a writer and a huge fan of Sonic the Hedgehog.
I would hate to be the guy who had to keep a straight face while attempting to convince people that the latest Sonic outing was good.

Aaagh. The job description fits me perfectly, And it really is my dream job.. I highly doubt you can be hired a fifteen year old though.. and you probably have to be there too – I live in Chicago, so no to that..
Know what?…….I’m doing this….I can do this job! I was the co-owner of a sponsorship company at one point…And I hear the voice of the fans. Not to mention my forum ran on vbulletin and I know wordpress and office…Here’s to hoping

How exactly is that a dream job? You’re just managing the community. You’re not doing any of the real heavy lifting whatsoever. You probably don’t even do much there.
