Alternate Box Art Added
Sega today revealed a mid-November release timetable for Mario and Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games.
The game will be out first in North America on November 15th for Wii. The European release will follow three days later on November 18th. The 3DS version will be released next year, but no specific details about that version were disclosed today.
To complement today’s news, Sega of America released a couple new screenshots from both editions, as well as the box art for the Wii version. They are in the gallery below. UPDATE: A second, alternate version of the box art, perhaps limited to the UK only, has been spotted, and added. Thanks to the tipster with the handle sonichedgehog for letting us know of this news. Now I want relase date for Generations SEGA! I hope its 1st November for US and 4th for EU and PAL terotories as listed in Gamestop and GAME.

It was originally Q4 2011. Then “December 31st” as a placeholder. It was meant to be in November but was pushed back to December merely so it could be released around Christmas season. But then it was moved back up to November 22nd.
Now it’s November 1st, at least in the U.S. o:

Love the box art. I prefer the EUR version slightly tho. The graphics arent ground-breaking but at least they look better than the first, and slightly better than the second one I think. even if its not better they are nice. I KNEW they would include cycling.
I think the lighting engine changed to the Colors one. That’s the only difference I think I see.

That alternate artwork is retarded, you changed it to add background pictures? Granted one is of Big Ben, but it’s not like you need to see it on the cover, you already know it’s in London. Waste of ink and paper.
