Preview of “Friends and Fate” Inside
IGN again has the preview for issue 227 of the principal Sonic comic, which will go on sale next week.
The issue continues the Genesis arc with part two, and it opens with Sonic, Sally, and company maneuvering through the Labyrinth Zone. The crew is almost instantly greeted with the rising tide, and Sonic is greeted with some romantic questions about Sally. Ian Flynn penned the script. Tracy Yardley, Matt Herms, John Workman, and Terry Austin handle the page art, while Spaz again draws the cover.

This arc is looking promising. While I dont have the main comics i do have the Universe ones and they are really good.
@Striker Yup. I have a subscription and depending on the month i get the comics anywhere between a week before everybody to a month late.
You see that fifth page? That page is my favorite. That’s a really cool water effect, waving the lines with a slight re verb to signify the water moving around the Freedom Fighters.
It feels odd that Sally is repulsing me the most in terms of Retro designs. They should have done something more along the lines of making her shorter and less human in body anatomy. That is really bothersome. She looks taller than Sonic most of the time it’s that bad. I mean, this… (excuse the shameless self plug… or not!)

I come back and finally buy Issue #226 after nearly 9+ years of not reading the comics because of this nifty new reboot PLUS THE FACT that last I remembered, they had Spaz on “cover dude” duty and now he’s finally effing drawing stories again (and god damn has he improved) and they have THOSE two together?!

lol It’s OK to be mad in this fanbase, but i can assure you, Ant is not with Sally even with the world reset and no one remembers each other. It will never happen lol.
Or Sonic will end up stealing her from him anyway XD He’s quite the lady killer in the comics. . . .

I think Spaz does great work here, he actually makes the characters look like they could be in the games
I’ll wait and see about this issue’s story, but seeing Sonic get jealous of Antoine and Sally’s relationship was too funny XD. Can’t wait.
