If you’re one of many who subscribes to the Netflix service, we have good news for you: Sonic Underground, the late 1990s animated series from DiC (now Cookie Jar), is available for instant streaming.
It appears all of the 40 produced episodes are available on the service. If you can’t stream, Netflix also has both DVD releases of Underground which you can rent phsyically.

Woah, seriously? 0-o Huh. That’s surprising.
…but there’s YouTube. xD
thank you.
That works, since this was the only series I DIDN’T buy during that big sale a while back XD
or if you have comcast you can watch Sonic Underground for free of This TV channel 226
this show is better than sonic x
@sonicfan15
Kinda agreed. I think this is how I think the shows are ordered from best to worst:
AoSTH/SatAM I say this because AoSTH is good in terms of humor.
sUND: Very bad.
SX: Godawful.
hmm haven seen Underground in years. May check it out of my Xbox’s Netflix since it’s been awhile. And while this show was pretty bad, I thought it was slightly tolerable than Sonic X was.
Now if only Netflix would post AoStH my life would be complete.
I used to hate this show but then i watched it some more and it got better and I hate Sonic game gear games more.
This is cool since I have Netflix on my 3DS and all but…
AOSTH+SatAM= PURE BLISS!
Interesting cause my nephew just called me and told me that he was watching it on Netflix moments ago…LOL I thought it was on there already lol. I have seen them all though back in 2009 I think it was I finally caught up with those episodes thanks to a certain site lol.
@SonicFan15: I’m going to disagree. Whereas Sonic Underground had little to no redeeming factors, Sonic X did have its moments. It didn’t have many, but it had its moments.
^And when I say moments, I mean things like seeing Chris get bitchslapped by Shadow.
yea… Chris getting bitch-slapped was the only part of Sonic X i REALLY enjoyed….. in fact, if the show had Chris get slapped by every other char it would be my fav Sonic show.
@Amuro:
Agreed. There’s also the fact that the action scenes were pretty cool, Sonic didn’t need a magic medallion in order kick ass, and of course, LIVE AND LEARN played in one episode (in the Japanese version, anyway…). If Chris didn’t steal the spotlight so much, the show would’ve been LOADS better.
Sonic X would’ve been great if the animation and the dub music was better. And maybe if there weren’t so many cuts
Don’t like Sonic Underground. Not as cool as AoSTH and especially Sonic SatAM.
But I HATE Sonic X. Fuck Chris for the stealing the spotlight, being more obsessive towards Sonic than Amy, and for stealing the role of “lovable sidekick” from Tails (who was BORN for that role).
@Amuro
Shadow bitchslapping Chris was one of those moments where the show made me smile. Another cherished scene is where Robotnik/Eggman points out how fucking useless the kid is.
To bring some TV Tropes into this, Chris Thorndyke has officially become the Scrappy Doo of the animated Sonic canon; he’s annoying, unlikable, and no one wants him around.
