A New Video, a New Demo, a Return Appearance
We begin our SAGE booth overviews with Sonic Zero: Remastered, a fan game remix now ten years in the making.
This year, MCKaosu and Sparks present a three act demo of Generic Garden Zone, along with this long video of how the game plays.
There is also a new demo of the game. To play it, head to SAGE and search the booths for Sonic Zero.

I’m loving the music, sprites, sound effects, and level
. . . Now how’s the story?
“Generic Garden” sounds okay for an (almost) original zone. Enjoyed the remix of the fantastic “Door into Summer” from Knuckles Chaotix while I like the level’s mixture of enemies from the badniks to the Battle Kukku Army from Tails Adventure.
Sonic Zero looks decent at best.
There’s a ZERO percent chance of me playing this.
DOHOHOHOHO!!
So we can’t download a demo of this?
Generic Garden? XD
Generic Garden Zone should have been the name for the trope “Green Hill Zone” on TV Tropes, since that’s what almost every beach/forest-themed Sonic level is. I’m not saying I don’t like it, but still/
Generic sure is right. There’s nothing that made me even remotely interested in this fan game.
Music was terrible, but the gameplay looks decent.
