“Amazon.co.uk was displaying wrong information on its website”
Since we made such a big stink of it last week, we wanted to update you on the situation surrounding a purported bump back on the Sonic Generations Collector’s Edition listed on Amazon.co.uk.
Sonic Wrecks reports Amazon goofed up, so much so that Sega intervened on the matter, resulting in the correct date now being posted on the website. A customer service letter obtained by the website indicates as much:
We can confirm that the release date for the Collector’s Edition of Sonic Generations will be the 4th of November.
Amazon.co.uk was displaying wrong information on its website and after we escalated this issue to the relevant Amazon department, it was corrected.
The right release date is displayed now.
In short, there’s nothing to be alarmed about for CE orders…unless you forgot to pre-order the XBOX 360 version. Amazon UK is listing that title as sold out.

Is there anywhere I could get an english version shipped to the US? I’m afraid that if I import it from Amazon Germany, everything will come in German and I won’t even be able to read/watch/ use it.

You can place an order with Mighty Ape. They’re in New Zealand. I just switched my order to them from Amazon Germany, due to that same paranoia.

…but it’ll cost you about $30-something extra, and the general consensus seems to be that the CE will be multilingual – if that’s the case then Amazon Germany has the better deal. So… $30 for peace of mind? You decide!

I wish this collectors edition would have been available in America soooooo bad lol.
I read Straight “Starlight” at First :C Then I got disappointed because I thought it was going to say Something about Starlight being DLC or something.
