Take Another Trip Back in Time
In addition to the main Sonic issue being available shortly, Archie also has Sonic Archives #16 in the pipeline.
IGN first disclosed the cover and the first few pages from the issue, which will cover classic issues 59 through 62 and cost $7.95 once in stores.
Those preview images follow Archie’s synopsis.
The best-selling Sonic Archives graphic novel series continues! The hunt for the evil Ixis Naugus goes into full swing as Sonic and his best friend Tails continue the World Tour Saga! Can the power of friendship overrule the wills of interdimensional machine-gods? What is the sinister secret of Sand Blast City? And are those duck-bill platypus warriors riding crododiles? You won’t want to miss all of the first time appearances for characters like the Iron King and Queen, Jack Rabbit and his Sand Blast Freedom Fighters, and the debut of the Secret Service!
SONIC ARCHIVES VOLUME 16 collects SONIC THE HEDGEHOG #59-62 featuring digitally re-mastered art and special features!

For some reason, comic stores near me never seem to have any Sonic Archives. Anyway, looking forward to this volume in case I come across it.
These are incredibly well-drawn 0.o
Meanwhile, at Sonic Stadium…

@Red Fire
I agree on those comments in the link, those websites seem kinda shady for sonic merchindise….
Anyway cool another book for SEGA and archie to take 8 bucks from me
Is it just me, or do the comics tend to use characters that parallel the Archives release rate?
We had the Sand Blast pplz a few months ago who are now appearing in Archives…and I can’t think of any more examples but that’s not important. It’s a cunning subliminal selling thingamathing.
*sad face* I had the actual comics that are in this edition of Archives…before they were stolen from my burned-down house that is.
@SfkFox: It is kind of odd, isn’t it? Vertical and Horizontal were just in the Scourge Arc in SU, and you’re correct about the Sand Blasters, that wasn’t too long ago either. Coincidence? owo
