That Didn’t Take Long
One would think after the data dump that resulted from the first demo release of Sonic Generations being mined, Sega would be a little more careful with what they included with this afternoon’s release.
That does not appear to be case, as it only took a couple hours for the more astute data miners among us to pry the game’s ending medley from the second demo. It is long–more than seven minutes in all–but all the music is in the clear, including pieces from Chemical Plant and Sky Sanctuary. You’ll also notice tracks from Seaside Hill and Planet Wisp among others only receive slight variations upon their original themes.
Prepare to be spoiled by clicking the video below. Though it can certainly be argued Sega needs a little better internal quality control on matters like this, we must warn this story can and probably will be subject to our Sensitive Materials Policy, despite the demo being free. Enjoy it while you can.

I don’t care if I spoil it. It’s already music I heard before but Remixed. And it’s
<3
Awersome
AWERSOMMME
Just knowing they did a medley for the ending is a spoiler itself. Might as well watch it.
Wistles…. That was Tight!
Second Demo will be a really big spoiler and this is the example XD
Oh, from what I’m reading, there is a lot more than just the Ending melody.
Odd that they don’t use the actual stage music…
Still extremely awesome though.
Pointlessname: Send a tip if you know more. They can’t kill us for text.

I’m beginning to think that a random employee is putting these in for kicks. WHY would a ModernGHZ demo need the credits music buried in it’s files? WHY?
All I know is that we may see a lot more themes/jingles coming soon.
………….And I was right. Lemme tip
Beautiful ending melody is Beautiful. I’ve actually danced in my chair through the whole thing.
If someone already got a copy of Uncharted 3 before its street date (November 1st), what are the chances that just about all of Sonic Generations is spoiled before its street date? XD
@pointlessname
TELL ME IT’S MODERN ESCAPE THE CITY. TELL ME!!!!!!!!!
@Raymanfan1
No word on that yet, sorry.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
nice title card
@Pointlessname I love how you’re like some sort of provider of information now.
*Tries to get in on the fame* I know where this stuff is too! xP
@Jansen TELLLLLLLLMEEEEEEE!
These banners are awesome. Are you making them, Tristan, or someone else?
The jig is up. Okay. Here, take this thread and bask in it’s spoiler glow http://board.sonicstadium.org/topic/9422-hidden-assets-of-the-generations-demo-spoilers/page__st__4280
Damnit Conor, I was just gonna link that…
Also, Tristan, rename the title of this article to “Sonic Generations Ending Music Mined from Latest Demo”. That the ending is a medley is a spoiler in itself.
Or just rename it, New demo hacked or something. Also, since I put up that link, I won’t really tip anymore, it’s not needed.
sonic1 starting medley is the best part!\o/
@pointlessnamepostwithlink
Well that was… underwhelming.
@Raymanfan1
Well, if you wait, maybe we will get a lot more stuff. It’s only been a few hours, give them time.
Yeah, I guess, I haven’t really been keeping up with demo release dates and such, as I don’t have a PS360.
That’s going to be one LOOOONG credits scene.
I am speechless..!
Now I want to hear the main theme so badly
I heard some are saying all of these are the original’s and not the new versions. But luckily i know their lying, Because i can see some difference with Seaside Hill and Speed Highway and Sky Sanctuary (Modern versions)
@Manic the Hedgehog
Well, they are and they aren’t. They are somewhat remixed versions of the originals, but are in no way the stage themes.
@Zash: So grab some Dr Pepper a prepare to jam out to some epic remasterings of some epic songs
Downloading the video. Will re-upload if necessary.
Also, there’s no closing vocal theme? This is good and all, but I kinda wanted an ending vocal theme…like how every Sonic game (with the exception of Sonic 2006) has had since Shadow….
Yes, i already downloaded these music files, and put them into my phone! Actually look at Youtube in the guy’s desc, he has more songs, and im hoping he’ll find more.
DAT FUCKING PLANET WISP REMIX
ya. ist good.
lol at people saying the word “medley” is a spoiler. haha oh my gosh.
If it’s just the music, that’s not much of a spoiler in my book. Cutscenes and such like that ARE spoilers. XD
So much love in my otherwise crappy day.
The music in this is re-touched original music. It’s not the in-level music.
As nice as that was… SERIOUSLY! Whoever’s mining this crap STOP IT and get a real life. Goodness. >.> lol
I think Sonic Team purposely put that there for us to listen
Big whoop I love it TSSZ makes big deals out of just a song! It not like video footage spoilers that my big deal
Oh God. That “Up and down and all around” line is even MORE obnoxious and out of place than it was in the original XD
This isn’t the most seamless end credits medley I’ve ever heard, but I dig most of the tunes nonetheless.
@Foxboy
Stuff it, Foxboy. People can do whatever they want with their time, and data mining isn’t any less productive of an activity than bitching about it on TSSZ.
Not everyone likes to be “surprised” by their videogames, and those who do are free to simply avoid the spoilers. If they lack the self-control to do so, then shame on them – but that’s no reason to spit on someone else’s hobbies.
@Sonic (lolwut) Meh, maybe there’s a vocal theme within the game itself. I sure hope Crush 40 does a remake of Open Your Heart for vs Perfect Chaos.
Impressive.
Niiice. hopefully we can get some gameplay also.
Only if it was a Crush 40 song….
