What Does Sega France Have Up its Sleeve?

We have two pieces of information to share from across the Atlantic.  In France, as we reported last week, the Paris Games Week will kick off beginning Friday, and we’ve learned Sega has something special to show there concerning Sonic Generations.

According to Sega France blog The Blue Room, not only will Takashi Iizuka be present at the show, he and the team will also publicly demo a later stage from the game for the first time.  There’s no hint as to what it could be, and given what has been playable to press versus public it’s tough to venture a guess.

Second, our friends at Eversonic tell us Sonic CD will also be playable at the event, in addition to Generations and Mario and Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games.  It’s the first time the game will be publicly playable in Europe.

The Eversonic staff have agreed to relay some of their coverage for us, and we thank them for that.  So depending on what Sega France has in store, there may be one or two more surprises in store for us before Generations‘s release–and you’ll see it here.
