Attendees of today’s Golden Joystick Awards in London were treated to a special exclusive Sonic Generations trailer that allegedly featured Super Sonic.
This, according to the Twitter feed of GirlGamersUK.com editor Diane, who noted what she saw at the show:
The World exclusive trailer from SEGA Sonic Generations. Super Sonic!! Watch him go!!!
Some post-show media is expected at some point, so it’s not clear how soon the rest of the world will see what award attendees saw today; though it could be this afternoon. We’ll update you when we know more, but at least this confirms what a few data miners have found inside the Generations demos.
Unfortunately, aside from Sonic winning the Outstanding Contribution award, neither the hedgehog nor his parent company even placed in any other category save for a third place finish by Total War: Shogun 2 for Best Strategy Game.

Ok if it turns out the SEGA uses the same Super Sonic tease I included in a video (that SEGA removed) Imma be pissed.

I noticed that super sonic not much faster than normal Sonic.Maybe,thats ‘cuz of its just a demo and super sonic was not programmed ?Or thats all Super Sonic got ? I did not except this but,it’s just a possibility.

The reason why you didn’t see any gameplay differences is because it was a model swap. All I did was replace all the normal Sonic models, animations, and textures with those of his super counterpart. Gameplay wise, it’s still normal Sonic.

I saw it too. But I think I had already seen him in the demo before.
In Colors Super Sonic is also not faster. You think he would be at least for Classic Sonic since he’s the only one who used Super Sonic in stages to compare in the first place til Modern Sonic did it in Colors. But in Colors he just has infinate boost and invincibility.
But that video shows some technical inaccuracies. He turns blue in some ball animations and Classic Sonic’s quills stick downward almost like in the Adventure series Super Sonic only the Adventure series one never cuvered THAT low.
I assume it’s just because this is a hack and not the actual Super Sonic tho. Cuz it seems kinda cheaply presented. lol idk. But I just hope the boost turbulence is yellow or orange or somthing for Super Sonic instead of blue in the actual game. I mean, Shadow’s is a different color so they CAN change it. With Sonic Colors they used rainbow sparks while running instead, and that was fitting for both versions of Sonic. But for the HD consoles, it being blue just doesn’t fit the way it did in SA1 and SA2′s final bosses. lol

Also yes the blue glow effects like boost, stomp, and slide will be yellow as Super Sonic,, the yellow slide and stomp effects were actually in the demo, but I didn’t realize they were there until after I made that video, otherwise I would have added them in.

But you are right.Blue boost “REALLY” does not fit with super sonic.

Funny how in the CGI cutscene he looks like a big dark Pokemon but in the first in-game cutscene he looks like a freakin main villain of Digimon or sumtin. XD

Great ANOTHER trailer I guessed before it being revealed I guessed: the classic era, dreamcast era, modern era, boss trailer and now a Super Sonic trailer what next, a launch trailer? I’m not kidding, I actually did guess these trailers!

lol So did I. I predicted the number of trailers that were left and about around when they’d be released. The Launch Trailer seems like an either-or situation tho. It could have one or might not.
Sonic Stadium released 15 images for the opening cutscene.
I bet it’s a trailer like the others where it shows the Sonics doing tricks and then it shows their gameplay. Except they’re Super. lol And maybe it’ll have the Main theme in there too!

I don’t want to go too off topic but Gametrailers posted a video of a full playthrough of sky sanctuary where you can hear the sounds better and modern sonic takes a slightly different path, you can also see classic sonic’s sky sanctuary, didn’t watch it to see if there are any differences
