Watch Modern Sonic in Action Inside
We have a couple notes from Paris Games Week, the most notable one from News Tipster funkyjeremi83, who tells us the modern variant of Rootfop Run, at least, was on display at the show.
For the moment, this is the best video we have of the demo, uploaded to our tipster’s Youtube account. It only shows off the modern portion of Rooftop Run, and it doesn’t appear this was publicly playable at the show. We’re working our sources to see if there was any of the classic stage shown, and we’ll let you know when we learn more.

Maybe it doesnt matter to you, but I really think its ugly when it doesnt do that. I didnt say im not going to buy the game over it so stfu. I like it and wish they would put it back like that cuz to me it looks cheap and bad if it doesnt do that.

ninjaassassin has a point actually. Just cuz it’s not something important doesn’t mean we can’t still form an opinion about it. lol
The level looks like it will be very fun to play all over again. The amount of places to go is just enormous and if there is so much replay value in this one level imagine how much it is in the whole game. I bet even without the bad camera re-cording the stage is very colorful, I still wonder what the citizens of spagonia are celebrating because if you played Sonic Unleashed there was no celebration going on at all during the game. Actually to tell the truth they were all in fear because of the world being torn apart. But really great level design then

I had to chuckle a bit seeing “Bonus Parfait” at the end. I know what it means; I just image Sonic getting ice cream at the end.
