Outstanding Contribution Award Received
Despite not seeing the behind-the-scenes Sonic Generations trailer that was shown during the Golden Joystick Awards, we are able to see an interview post award ceremony. Everything said is largely already know but, at least, it’s nice to see Sonic the Hedgehog receive recognition with the Generations release just over a week away for North America.

Ok, I’ll say it, I love the suit. But, I thought the conversation was nice, and I got a little more detail on how M&S came togther.

Kinda stuff that’s been known already, but nevertheless nice to see Sonic get some kind of recognition like this at last since well, Sonic 3.

According to someone on the Sonic Retro Forums, the Steam version of Sonic Generations was leaked online. Don’t know when or where, more details that I wouldn’t want to find out later.
Never mind, the leak is fake. Move along.

early 90′s were a good time for Sonic. Mid 90′s were meh, late 90′s started up good again just in time for the early 2000′s.

But Sonic 3 & Knuckles was mid-decade, and that’s largely considered the best Sonic game yet.

@Ophelia: Sorry, I wasn’t being specific. S3&K is actually early decade. We’re talking about 1991 – 2001, 2001 – 2011 and 2011 – 2021. I just refer to them as “90′s”, “2000′s” and “2010′s” because it’s simpler.
Basically it’s good for the first half of the Sonic decade and the very end.

They are good scores nonetheless but they didn’t enjoy the graphics which got a 7. I thought the graphics were absolutely stunning as expected.
Looking back at Sonic Unleashed and Colors graphics that is.
