Okay so..am I missing something here? I just got into the comic and already feel overwhelmed.
>Sonic Archives, which are the old stories/issues but brought back in much smaller volumes.
>Sonic Select, which is, I assume, the original 48 Page specials but also in much smaller volumes.
The above two intrigue me VERY MUCH as I do not own those old comics anymore (I regret it now though) and buying these saves me money and time (not to mention shelf space).
…and now we have
>Sonic Legacy Book One (coming out)
>Sonic Super Special (the pictured comic in this article)
Holy hell what the fuck is the difference? Is there more shit I’m going to have to worry about ponying up for money? What could make this any different than what I’ve seen or would want to see already? I don’t understand and am already frustrated with what seems like oversaturation of a simple product.
@Haru
You know, there are new readers out there, that want to see comics that aren’t collected in regular collector sets.
@Haru
Yea these books are really only for 3 types of people
1. the die-hard collector
2. The impulse buy of little kids in stores (i think this is the major one lol)
3. the curious new reader
And since I’m a 1 i’ll get it just for the extras they might contain (thank god i have a good job… whew….)
I see a mistake…
That’s not a new cover for the SU arc, that’s the cover for issue #8.
I’m going to be probably getting that one and the previous one anyway since mine are now gone thanks to those ****ing ***holes that stole all of my comics from my burnt-down house. T__T

I see my questions went largely unanswered. What I’m mostly asking is what’s the difference between those other sets and what I already listed as what I wanna get.
@Jennie
They recycled the cover of issue 8 for the graphic novel.
@Haru
Sonic Select is unique as it reprints the specials and miniseries which won’t be printed anywhere else. Sonic Archives is a full-color, remastered archives of the oldest issues starting from #1. The beefy Sonic Legacy is basically the same as the Archives, except is in black and white (coloring book style, no shading) at a cheaper price. Finally, the SSSM is a magazine with news and other features, and reprints certain stories that tend to be newer and thus won’t be collected in the Archives for quite some time. If you are just looking for the old issues in their original form only, then you might want to just stick with the Archives and Selects.
If you’ve got any other questions be sure to let me know and I’ll clarify.
Heh heh heh…”Deuces.”
