2 Discs Covering 30 Sonic Games Planned
There’s more music you can import from Japan, in case the previous albums this year were not enough.
There’s no cover art just yet for the Sonic the Hedgehog 20th Anniversary Best Album, but we’ve learned it will be a two disc set and cover some 30 Sonic titles from the past 20 years. So far, it appears many of the tracks will be image themes; already the opening and ending vocal tracks from Sonic Colors are confirmed to be part of the set, as is His World from the 2006 Sonic the Hedgehog.
The album will be out December 7th at a cost of about ¥3,500, or more than $43. If you’d like to pre-order it, you can via our partners at CDJapan. Thanks to jackaroo for tipping us. hey i know this isnt about the subject but i was on sega’s site and it says the PC version is out now IDK what that means i know its not out at all but it is suspicious
I thought HMV Japan also confirmed Endless Possibility from Sonic Unleashed?
@ Shan The Hedgehg : Yeah endless possibility is confirmed also. If you go to the CDJapan page and scroll down a bit it has a list of confirmed tracks. Theres only 4 or 5 at the moment though.
It’s not all game music – the first confirmed track is “SONIC DRIVE”, the Japanese theme of Sonic X. If it’s gonna be double disks and also have the original anime theme, then I think it’s safe to say that it’s gonna cover multiple media.
I’d kill for a full version of “LOOK-ALIKE” or *gasp* a clean version of the SatAM theme (hey, other things happened~)
@Blazer
I’ve got a full version of Look Alike. 3 minutes long anyway.
No luck on the SatAM theme.
This is basically paying for a playlist that some may already have, unless of course you’re into collecting things like that
