Isolated Report of Early Sale
Depending on where you live, we’re about a week to a week and a half away from the launch of Sonic Generations on 3DS. But Spanish website Sonic Paradise relayed news over the weekend from another website, elotrolado.net, where a user claimed the game could be bought at a local GAME store, a major European retailer.
The store where the SNAFU look place occurred in Spain’s capital, Madrid, at the Centro Comercial Plenilunio. User al2 saw the game on sale for €49.90, and was able to easily purchase the game.
So far, this is the only early sale we’ve seen of the 3DS version. As the domestic launch is a bit closer, we’ll check retailers to see if similar gaffes have occurred. If you see something, please tell us via a news tip.

I hope we find about what those “multiplayer exclusive environments” really are. I’m also wondering about boss battles + Time Eater. Should be epic.
I completely forgot about multiplayer…. was to excited in wanting to know what the two remaining unrevealed era bosses were.

I hope Shadow is in this version, but I’ve heard they decided to put practically no one but the important characters in the game for some stupid reason.
@The Shadow Emporer He is in the game, as a rival. It’s been confirmed already.
Shadow Emperor: Shadow is one of the important characters to the story in the 3DS version. He is the rival for Radical Highway.
@Timothy – Are you sure man? 68 bucks seems way too high. 3D Land is a AAA Game, and it was only like 40 bucks.

looks like al2 didn’t buy the game, he/she just took a picture of the case and that it was in the top best seller section. So it’s still up in the air if anyone in spain has the game. It make sense since no info has been leaked out from anyone regarding the 3DS’s remaining era bosses and silver’s rival battle/race location
timothy: Just because he didn’t buy it doesn’t mean the street date wasn’t broken. There’s some clarification going on in that thread that would appear to indicate the retailer did indeed have the game up for sale at some point over the weekend. For that reason, we’re sticking with the original story.
