Including More Peeks at the 3DS Version
If you’re not lucky enough to be in one of the few isolated locations where Sonic Generations for the 3DS hasn’t broken the street date already, you’re likely still wondering how that edition will play out.
Luckily, over in Japan, both versions await an early December launch, and it’s for that reason Sega continues its promotional push over there. Part of that push was a more than three minute video released this week. Woun has converted the video to a format we can embed below.
You’ll get a little bit of everything here, including looks at Tropical Resort, Water Palace, the Special Stage, and more.

this is kind of awkward to say, but the DS version looks like more fun than the console version.
That CD Soundtrack is a pretty nice preorder bonus. The two of them together are a good way of showcasing the amazing music we’ve had over the last 20 years in Sonic games.
That guy goes from speaking completely Japanese to perfect English at the end. O_o
3ds ver. will get more sales than the console version.
Wow, there’s actual 3D gameplay in there! Cool, and so is how all the Sonics look ripped straight from the games their zones are from! If I ever get a 3DS, I’ll buy that version as well.
Lol i hope they have a Techno Remix of Classic Radical Highway and Classic Emerald Coast. That would so make my day right now besides dat gameplay son.
White and blue version of those sound tracks…hmmmm well….heheheheh ahem…3ds so many differences vs. the consoles…well no matter…one day I shall have that.

I just figured out that cutscene with the time eater is only in the 3ds version (the one in the trailer) and this still doesn’t impress me, sigh well i have the console version to hold me up…till Christmas, ahhh makes me wish I would’ve kept my saints row the third pre-order, cause i beat generations in 2-3 hours, a shorter time than colors, which is surprising, err yeah a little off topic, but ehh
I’m suprised we have yet to hear music rips to the 3ds version.
Yea ikr the Consoles music was ripped 4 or 5 days after the game even came out.
Another thing im wondering about is
1. Will the 3DS have hub music?
2.Will Sonics friends come in multiplayer mode?
3.If the stages are long.
So yea im still wondering about those things. I think the 3DS version will get more sales than the console version.
