Your First Look at the 3DS’s Rush Representation
In addition to the extended trailer, Sega of Japan today released on the Japanese Sonic Generations portal new screenshots from the recently revealed Water Palace from the Sonic Rush series.
Let’s get you right to those screenshots, which are in the gallery below. You can see there will be proper underwater sections, in much the same way as what exists in Seaside Hill on Generations‘s console counterpart.
Have a look, and afford your thoughts in the comments.

First the console had the Giant Chopper at Green/Seaside Hill, now that big robot from Sonic Heroes!
Run classic sonic, run!
Yay, the giant propellors are back!
scuba googles on that huge egg pawn, that attention to detail there. I hope that emerald coast modern was the dud of the 7 stages cuz water palace looks like a blast so does tropical resort from the trailer both classic and modern look fun. and that wall walking in radical highway is interesting as well
This looks sweet can’t wait to get this version next week but i am a bit worried if modern sonic water palace will be the exact same like classic sonic green hill and mushroom hill
Just a heads up that GamesRadar has the first review of the 3DS version up.
http://www.gamesradar.com/sonic-generations-3ds-review/
They gave it 7/10, praising replay value but wondering why the levels from 3D games weren’t in 3D.
its very interesting that the 3ds verison of time eater is more liked that the console versions.
A broom up the ass is more liked than the console Time Eater
@Wonchop
There was a review before GameRadar’s and Super Mario 3D Land is what Modern should have been, but more sonicy.
@ashurasenku: wahhh??? explain
Why do those buildings make me think of Apatos?
@Shadow Emperor Because Apotos, like most of the things from Unleashed, is based off something from Sonic Rush (in this case, Water Palace)
@Shadow: Fun fact: Apotos in the Mobile version of Unleashed uses the same background as Sonic Rush’s Water Palace.
WaterPalace2005+3D+Apotos+KingdomValley=
Sonic Generations Water Palace
What a Surprise
Hmm at 1st i was kinda mad that Water Palace was chosen and then i said Oooo Cool Water Sliding and New Elements for Classic Sonic. it seemed like such a blast so i said Cool and when i seen the Hub World Art i was Jizzing my pants. Why Couldnt have Silver been in Water Palace D<
Anyway Tropical Resort is a Total Jizz
@Shade Kingdom Valley has nothing to do with Water Palace.
This stage also looks a lot like Blue Coast from Sonic Rivals 2
PURRRRRDY.
This was my least favorite Rush level, though.
*sigh* I guess you have to have water in there somewhere, Sonic.
@lolwut
Well Obviously, But It Has a Resemblence.
@Shade i don’t see any resemblence between Water Palace and Kingdom Valley.
Hey heres an idea lets just leave it at its water palace.
@timothy
NO! The Sonic fanbase was formed solely for fans to argue with each other! Pffftt… Don’t you know anything?!?
@Raymanfan1
he must be new to the fanbase! jk
Yes! This was my favorite level in one of my favorite Sonic Games! Tuesday cannot come quick enough now.
