Good Things Come to Those Who Wait
There was a time when the New York Comic Con exclusive edition to Archie’s Sonic #229 was fetching upwards of a couple hundred bucks on Ebay. This, for a comic that cost maybe ten dollars at the show.
But that was so October. In the middle of November, Archie elected to sell the rest of the limited edition copies on their website, and as of today, they are still available to purchase.
The same is also true of the NYCC exclusive edition for Mega Man #6. That too remains on sale online, as it has been for the past several days.
As far as anyone is aware, though, only 500 of these were produced, so how long either will remain in stock remains to be seen. But it goes to show the early bird doesn’t always get the worm–they just get more out of their wallet to pony up.
