Part of Sonic Generations Party in late December at Tokyo Joypolis
In today’s edition of Up the Ante, Free Stuff Friday, we want to pass along word of yet another contest for yet another rare Sonic 20th anniversary statue.
This time, it’s in Japan, and will be part of a larger party Sega’s Joypolis arcade in Tokyo is putting on to celebrate the release of Sonic Generations. Today, the Japanese Sonic 20th anniversary Twitter teased a time attack competition there as part of the day’s festivities. It’s not clear what zone will be tackled, but it appears whoever wins will receive one statue, signed by members of Sonic Team.
The party and competition will be held December 23rd at the Tokyo Joypolis. As was reported Saturday, Jun Senoue will also be on hand for the big event.

A statue? Signed by all members of Sonic Team? Lucky Japanese.
Watch, the time attack will be Team Chaotix’s Mystic Mansion mission in Sonic Heroes. It took me over 25 minutes to beat that.
A SIGNED statue?
I don’t want pen marks on my Sonic!
@Metaryan: I hope i mean how do they expect you to know the 2 flames are underneath the slammer, or whatever it’s called; I doubt this though, no i believe it will be crisis city, that level is hard and glitchy, but WAY better than sonic 06′s version ” D:
ps took me 18 min. to beat the team chaotix mission
@Raymanfan1 – Yeah, but if it’s signed by Sonic Team I honestly can’t say I wouldn’t mind…
