You Can Do Anything–Including Earn Gamerscore!
This morning, the webste XBOX360Achievements.org released the 12 achievements for the upcoming re-release of Sonic CD.
In all, earning them all will yet 200 points toward your XBOX Live score. There are a few winks and nods to bits of Sonic’s past within a few of the achievement names as well. 88 Miles per Hour (5)
Travel through time
Just one hug is enough (5)
Get a hug from Amy
Paradise Found (5)
Complete a zone in the Good Future
Take the High Road (10)
Pass the upper Signpost in Collision Chaos Zone 2
King of the Rings (10)
Collect 200 Rings
Statue Saviour (10)
Find the angel statue in Wacky Workbench
Heavy Metal (15)
Defeat Metal Sonic without getting hurt
All Stages Clear! (15)
Finish the game
Treasure Hunter (20)
Collect all the Time Stones
Dr. Eggman Got Served (30)
Destroy Dr. Eggman’s final machine
Just in Time! (35)
Complete the Time Attack mode in under 25 minutes
Saviour of the Planet (40)
Destroy all the robot teleporters and Metal Sonic holograms in the past

Oh dear…I’ve never been able to collect all of the Time Stones. I can get the first 4 easily, but the last three always elude me.
Instead, I just opted to get the good ending by destroying all of the electric Twinkies. (They’re robot teleporters?)
88 Miles per Hour should’ve been restricted to just Tails.
Awesome list of achievements. Cannot wait for this game to hit XBLA. Hoping a release date comes soon. December is already here come tomorrow. Let’s go Sega.

I don’t get gamerscore, I get percentage.
I’m glad they have achievements for those hidden things like that angel and robotnik statue, but I’m left wondering how Tails is unlocked. I also love how the time attack in Sonic CD adds up the times for every level and lowers the total time as you progress.
Yeah, Dan, we do, but there are certain sites which actually tell you the score value for PSN trophies and how they add up.

Hehe, I’ve already done each and every one of these in both my old PC copy of the game and my Sonic Gems Collection copy. Here we go again!
I hope they put up a release date on this already. I’ve got Microsoft Points standing by and waiting!

Me too (though I have a PS3 than a 360). But I’m physced for the trophies with the PSN version and the release date!
Darn. I read “88 Miles Per Hour” and thought that I’d be the first one to post that it was a Back to the Future reference. I guess Xbox 360s can handle getting 1.2 gigawatts of powe-1.2 GIGAWATTS OF POWER?!?

MAN I CAN’T WAIT i played this in sonic gems collection but didn’t do any of the extra stuff sadly but now i have achievements to motivate me then i can say i beat sonic CD 100% oh boy this is exciting. I am a bit surprised i mean it is now december and still no release date all we know is it comes out in december
